Join us to explore the basics of crochet as we work together on a simple project to foster the learning process and get started on a town-wide project to transform the town common into a sea of yarn goodness for the Arts on the Common event to be held this Summer. In this one and a half hour class we will explore the basics of crochet. We’ll talk about the various stitches and how they work together to form patterns then move into how to create our own piece of crocheted fiber art using the chain stitch and double crochets.
